Charge for all bags

A recent news article about Spirit Airlines charging for any bag that wouldn't fit under the seat got a big cheer from me and my wife. The airlines are going after revenue to balance their budget; nothing wrong with that. Their only concern is to be competitive.

It's about time there was some equity in this category. The few flights we take each year are unpleasant enough without seeing people stuff bags overhead for nothing while others are charged for bags they check in. This should produce a happier clientèle and a more even handed approach to all flying customers.

Now, if only we could put a smile on those TSA faces
